“Walking Meditation” the Vietnamese Zen Teacher Thich Nhat Hanh writes, ”unites our body and mind”.

In Walking meditation, we combine our breathing with our steps. When we breathe in we may take 3-4 steps and when we breathe out we may take 3-4 or 5 steps.

We pay attention to what is comfortable for our body.

I love to walk daily using the above technique. It really has such a profound impact on my nervous system and how balanced and harmonious I feel for the rest of the day. And my dog loves it too and is certainly more balanced afterwards!!
