Mindfulness is not rocket science but it takes effort to continually keep yourself mindful of all your thoughts and actions.
Thoughts are like the waves in the ocean.
The ocean like the mind,
remains unaffected even if the waves are stronger sometimes
Eventually they calm
Breathe dissolves thought
So we just need to take a firm grip of our minds so they are our slaves rather than a bad master. We can do this by watching our breath and returning time and time again to our breathing.
Science has proven that when we are mindful and aware of our present moment experience we feel the happiest. Now that’s worth training the mind for!
