“I have been practising Yoga with Sally at our workplace for a number of months. Having never practised in a yoga class before, I was unsure of what to expect, but her nurturing character allows everyone to be at ease. Sally has the ability to bring first timers and experienced yoga participants together instantly.
Sally’s classes are constantly evolving, not only targeting different parts of the body, But including words of wisdom to take away with you when you leave. Everyone in her classes leaves calm and relaxed afterwards and it leaves a positive impact on the workplace as whole. I could not recommend her highly enough, and personally gain many benefits from dealing with Stress, Anxiety & Depression (not to mention flexibility, balance & core strength) from each and every session”.

Sally brings a gentle energy to our yoga class that always make me smile. I slow down for some me-time and soon forget about the noise and traffic in my head. With Sally’s peaceful and reassuring voice guiding us, I find my confidence growing in my moves from month to month. -And working through each posture with us helps me to learn from the visuals. Sally is insightful and gauges how far to challenge us, giving different levels of difficulty for us to choose to work with which I really benefit from. Forty five minutes pass before I realise it! I end our classes feeling content with a sense of being more supple. I sleep better at night and am grateful Sally is in my life.

“I love how a simple 45 mins of yoga during the working day can completely change your outlook on things. Remembering to breathe, move, calm your mind, and challenge yourself without the normal every day stressors. Best part – hands down is the shavasana at the end. Bliss!
Sally does a great job as our Yoga instructor in making this an entirely enjoyable 45mins, looking after individual needs, ensuring we are performing the poses properly, and facilitating the relaxation process. I can highly recommend this for anybody, whether you have never done it before or you are an expert”.

“I attend Sally’s corporate class at Telstra’s Global Operations Centre. The class is warm, welcoming and peaceful. Sally has a wonderful energy. As a beginner I find her calm instruction easy to follow. The pace of the class is just right. She is informative, intuitive, reading abilities of students and providing modifications. I leave the class smiling on the inside and totally focused when I return to work. I’ve notice the days when I have practiced I sleep soundly”.

“I have been taking Sally’s yoga classes for over three months now and Sally’s sessions are always dynamic, varied and she ensures everyone feels comfortable regardless of their level or ability. Sally makes Yoga fun and calming at the same time as teaching the benefits and goals of each pose.Sally has a very gentle manner and provides clear instructions for postures and transitions and is always mindful of the student’s wellbeing”.

“The company I work for has for many years not promoted actual health activities, on the ground, so to speak. However in recent times and with far fewer staff members, the management have seen “health” as a risk to people and therefore “business”. The company has now embraced the need to make onsite health initiatives such as yoga and other activities a higher priority. Yoga was introduced and at first I was a little sceptical, not that yoga was bad, but that the initiative would soon run out of steam, people would not take the opportunity. Then we would have no yoga session. However I am so impressed by the outcome, I feel stronger and starting to feel physically more flexible, not just body but mind and wellbeing too. I must admit i keep myself in a fit state normally, with other group fitness sessions. Now having yoga sessions at work and enjoying the stillness, connection of mind, body and soul is totally refreshing. This part alone, I believe helps to alleviate the stress of our environment, and therefore makes me a better staff member. The initial number of participants was high, this number decreased soon after, but with a little encouragement, the number of people is increasing again. I believe is because other people are seeing benefits of the current yoga attendees. The expectation to gain a sense of stillness, calmness or whatever you “need” at the start of a session and then achieve that, is astounding. Having Sally teach “the practice” of yoga is so good. Her calm and centring voice just brings so much to these sessions and I believe the practice is starting a trend in our organisation.

“I had Sally as a yoga teacher for six months in a larger class and also as a private tutor for a period of 6 months prior to her going overseas. My friend and I were introduced to Sally when she stood in for another teacher on leave. We were so impressed by her that we requested private classes. We found Sally to be the perfect yoga teacher in that she is not only superbly skilled at yoga but a wonderful comforting person. There is no pressure in her class and with her encouragement (even if you are not fabulous at yoga) you feel you are doing your best.
During this period I had depression and found that yoga was a great calmer and really helped me through. Having Sally as a teacher was very important to me during this time, as due to her warm nature and comforting personality my road to recovery was enhanced.
I have the highest recommendation for Sally and wish that she was here to teach me.”

“I started private yoga classes with Sally as a result of My New Year’s Resolution to improve my health, flexibility and strength. At the time I had limited mobility due to knee wear and tear formed over many years. I was not sure if yoga was going to be right for me so I only committed to a couple of sessions initially. I am now hooked and aim to see Sally twice a week. Her classes provide me with a great source of relaxation and stress relief whilst really strengthening my outer and inner physique. I have found flexibility in my joints that I have never had. I would describe Sally’s nature as empathetic and her classes as Transformational”

“Being someone always involved in sports and constantly being sore, one place or the other. I found relief after performing yoga classes with Sally. Being ignorant to yoga most my life, I regret not pursuing yoga earlier in life. Better late than never, I would recommend Sally’s yoga classes to all no matter the age, size and shape. We can all greatly benefit from these classes physically and mentally. I would like to use this opportunity to thank Sally for teaching and sharing her valuable experience”

“Being a yoga teacher myself, I know what a true gift it is to find a fellow instructor who is as passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic about yoga as Sally is. Not only is she knowledgeable about the physical practice and can teach anyone from beginner all the way to very advanced levels, but her classes also have a spirituality component. I truly learned so much from Sally, both the new ways to open my body and also to completely relax and let go of the monkey mind and I hope her gift of teaching will be shared with many others.”

Your classes are the highlight of my week and you have provided me a safe space to reduce my levels of stress when everything around me is changing dramatically. Your ability to tune in to what is happening and assist the class to work on ourselves is humbling. You ensure that we are included irrespective of our abilities or the lack thereof and that we honour ourselves despite what is happening around us. I am a better person for having met you and I look forward to our paths crossing again.

I met Sally last summer at the Fitness centre in Zug. I tried a few of her classes and was surprised at how much I connected to her as a teacher and to yoga itself. I was amazed week to week as to how much my flexibility, core strength and balance has improved since I started semi private lessons with her. Yoga is now one of my highlights for the week. I always leave her class feeling happy and relaxed”

“I have had the pleasure of knowing Sally as a friend and colleague for at least ten years. From the moment Sally graduated as a yoga teacher at Dharma yoga, Sally has dedicated her time to teaching and deepening her knowledge of the mind and body connection. Sally was well loved when she taught at Dharma yoga before she left for Europe. To date students still speak fondly of her classes. Sally is certainly an asset where ever she chooses to teach.”
Jean-Alain d’Argent, Director of Dharma yoga Australia
Sal is a very experienced, empathic, and amiable yoga teacher. She has the rare gift to understand what each participant needs and to put together exercises effectively addressing all these different needs in one single session. During the exercises, Sal always briefly indicates what each position does for the body and mind and helps with tiny corrections to make the pose much more rewarding. I always enjoy yoga lessons with Sal immensely and feel great afterwards.

What really stands out about Sally’s yoga classes is that she teaches you all the benefits of yoga. She tailors each session to how you feel physically, emotionally and spiritually, balancing energizing work with calming poses and meditation. She is an insightful, beautiful and inspiring person… everything you want from a yoga instructor….whether you are a beginner or have lots of experience.

I did a hike/yoga class with Sally last night (for all levels). The teacher Sally is from Australia. It was just the two of us. The weather was “iffy” so people stayed at home. Got rained on a bit but I did not care. WONDERFUL experience and will do it again. Class was 1.45 hours and consisted of an energising hike along Zug Lake to Cham and back with three stops along the lake to do yoga. I was sore this morning but it was a rewarding sore. Highly recommend the class. Sally’s calming energy and peaceful grace was the perfect way to end the day.
