I try to live by the rule ‘ accept and not expect’. Accepting how things and people are lessens our suffering rather than expecting things in our lives or people to be any different according to expectations. So see if you can come to a place of acceptance with areas/people in your life that you wish were perhaps operating differently and just see how that makes you feel.

Each day I aim to:

– write down three gratitudes

– write down three things that went well

– slow down especially after 5pm (although this is challenging with a  1 year old)

– not to expect too much ( I am still working on this one..)

–  accept this present moment as if I have chosen it. Make peace with the present moment.
